What I help with

For over a decade I've worked with families around the world - many in China and East Asia - preparing students for entry to UK independent and grammar schools, and supporting them once they arrive. All lessons are online, with times arranged across time zones.School entrance preparation. About me

I'm Michael, a teacher, lecturer and senior examiner with 15 years in English education, most recently as Head of GCSE and A-Level English at an online, independent school.If my students had to describe me in one word, it would be "patient." I believe the biggest jumps come not from the students who know the most, but from the ones who come to believe they can improve, so building that belief is where I always start.
